Mr. Chelberg has served as a director of Northfield
since 1989. Mr. Chelberg served from May 1992 through November
2000
as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiAmericas, Inc.,
formerly known as Whitman Corporation. Mr. Chelberg is also a
director
of First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. and Snap-On Incorporated. Mr. Chelberg
received his LLB degree from the University of Illinois College
of Law in 1958.
